No matter what course you choose in the Department of Business, we want to ensure you that we strive to put the student first. We offer the unique mix of a university standard education with the one-on-one approach of a college setting. Smaller class sizes mean you receive enhanced engagement from your lecturers, getting to know them on a personal basis and allows you to take part in in-depth discussions with your classmates.
Our practical hands-on work placements give students the skills they’ll need in the working world. We have strong connections to industry giving you the opportunity to work on real projects for a variety of organisations. The Department of Business offers a variety of entry routes to a BBS (Hons) degree, allowing direct entry to our 4 year programme, or via the ‘ladder system’ at levels 6 or 7, with progression to an add-on year to complete the level 8 qualification. This provides flexibility in your approach to study and ensures that you can achieve your qualification in a manner that meets your needs. We also offer programmes that lead to a BA (Hons) qualification in 3 years. These are in the areas of Accounting, Business and ICT and Insurance Practice.
