Design, Education and Humanities
We are proud to have over 4,400 students pursuing studies in Education, Humanities, and Design across our campuses in the West and North-West of Ireland.
Our Education programmes empower graduates to shape the future of education through innovative teaching practices, educational leadership, and curriculum development. We inspire the next generation of learners from early years right up to third level education and make a lasting impact on education systems worldwide.
The area of Design at ATU is a catalyst for creativity. Our courses provide accessible learning opportunities across creative, design and media disciplines, drawing inspiration from our region’s cultural heritage and creative soul.
In the area of Humanities, our courses examine social issues from many perspectives including Early Education and Childcare, Community Development, Social Care and Social Justice. We equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical insights needed to excel in their chosen path.
