ATU Open Days, Explore Your University Options

Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Open Days take place across ATU’s nine campuses between October and November 2024.

Attending an ATU Open Day provides prospective learners with the opportunity to explore the campuses and facilities, meet lecturers, staff and current students and get an insight into the programmes available across ATU’s nine campuses.

Visitors to an ATU Open Day get a firsthand look at the campuses, facilities, and resources ATU offers, such as libraries, labs, sports centres, student supports and learning facilities which helps you the learner assess the university and check out if ATU fits your study needs and lifestyle.

During the Open Day events, prospective students get the chance to interact with lecturers, current students and academic staff from your potential area of study. Prospective students can ask specific questions about their area of interest, with detailed presentations on ATU’s programmes taking place across each event, giving you a clearer understanding of what each programme covers, which is valuable if you’re undecided or need more information about your area of interest.

Getting the chance to connect with current students at each event provides insight into student life, clubs, societies, accommodation, and what to expect outside the lecture theatre, which is essential for understanding the university’s community.

During the Open Day events, staff from student support services and the admissions office will be available to provide information on financial support, including grants, scholarships and bursaries, entry requirements, application processes, and important deadlines.

Prospective students can discover what kind of student support is available at ATU, such as counselling and medical services, academic support, career guidance, and disability services. Often these supports play an essential role in your success at university.

ATU Open Days include information about career services, internships, and graduate employment. ATU prides itself on preparing students for the job market, a unique feature of the technological university.

Beyond the university, ATU Open Days provide an opportunity to explore the surrounding town or city where the campus is located. This can be crucial in deciding if you would enjoy living in one of our nine university locations.
