Flexible Learning Courses in Archaeology

Since 2003, the North-West of Ireland has been at the forefront of archaeological education in Ireland. As we continue to develop a new full-time online degree in archaeology, we have created a number of (10 and 15 credit) Special Purpose Awards that focus on particular areas of archaeological enquiry.

We also offer 2 online/in-person programmes designed primarily for North American students. The associated modules are at 6 credits rather than 5, making them more compatible with North American credit systems. These provide 12 and 18 ECT credits (equivalent to 6 and 9 Semester Credits).
