ATU engages with public, private and voluntary organisations in all aspects of what we do, as both our teaching and research are strongly based in the world of practice.
Working with Enterprises
There are many ways in which enterprises from all sectors can work with the University, from providing student placements to collaborating on research and many others.
Regional Development
The University also plays an active role in supporting regional development of the Northern and Western region of Ireland, through projects and initiatives that engage directly in supporting social and economic development.
Entrepreneurship
A specific role played by the University in such development is in encouraging and supporting new enterprise to start up in the region.
