St Angelas
We are bringing back this exciting and always enjoyable culinary event to ATU St Angelas to encourage cooking creativity, learn about nutrition and be in with the chance to win some great prizes!

Thank you to all who entered the 2025 Healthy Home Chef Cookery Competition. Finalists have now been selected. Please note due to the number of entries received, only finalists have been contacted. The All-Island Cook Off will be held on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th May 2025 in ATU St Angelas, Sligo. The final is judged by a panel of experts including award winning chef Neven Maguire of MacNean House and Restaurant.
Prizes (both Junior and Senior 2025 categories):
- Gold category: €300 Dunnes gift voucher for winning student and teacher
- Silver category: €250 Dunnes gift voucher for winning student and teacher
- Bronze category: €200 Dunnes gift voucher for winning student and teacher
- Winning schools- Neven Maguire cooking kit
- Winners will be also invited to attend a Cook Along event with Neven. Details of this will be provided nearer to the time of the event.

Students are asked to submit their favourite healthy meal (main course dish only) for TWO people.
The competition is open to all students in post-primary schools on the island of Ireland and Youthreach Centres in the Republic of Ireland.
