Heritage & Tourism; Humanities, Applied Languages & Communications
This Department is home to courses in Heritage and International Tourism Management.
Our courses all have practical and theory components, so no two days are the same. Students visit heritage sites, museums, visitor attractions, OPW sites, tourism organisations and businesses, all related to your chosen course. Students also get to take part in residential field trips, both at home and abroad.
Our courses include paid and accredited work placement, in addition to both the Fáilte Ireland Regional and National Tour Guiding Certificates.
Languages are offered as electives on all our courses.
