ATU Donegal, Letterkenny Campus, will hold its 13th annual charity 5K on Tuesday April 1st, 7.15pm. The event is open to all – the community, general public, staff students and children from aged 13. This community event is growing year on year and welcomes everyone and all abilities.

This year’s charity is Pieta North-West, the suicide and self-harm prevention charity, supporting those in need throughout the county. ATU Donegal extends its gratitude for the support it has received from PGIM both last year and again in 2025.

ATU Sports Centre manager, Helen Kennedy states that ‘ATU Donegal’s annual charity 5K is an ever-growing community event which welcomes everyone and all abilities. Pieta is the nominated charity this year whom, along with our sponsors PGIM, we are delighted to support. All entry fees will go directly to Pieta to sustain its vital services. ATU extends thanks to all participants, organisers, volunteers and sponsor whose support each year has helped ATU’s 5K grow into an event of great community spirit and generosity’. ATU Donegal Sport Centre is delighted to welcome everyone through its doors, at any time, not just for the 5K.

The 5K starts and ends at ATU Donegal Sports Centre, Port Road, Letterkenny. Refreshments served afterwards. Free T-shirts for the first 200 to register online with category prizes for participants and refreshments served after the event.
