ATU hosts HR Managers Event on “Culture, Communications and Change in People Management” (Friday, 7 March)
Expert panel of speakers from public and private organisations in the west and north west

HR managers from public and private organisations in the west and northwest will gather in Atlantic Technological University (ATU) on Friday ,7 March (2pm), for a workshop event titled “Culture, Communications and Change in People Management” in ATU’s Mayo Campus (Castlebar).
Organised by the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) programme board and staff in the Department of Organisational Development, it will be attended by senior managers from Vantive Manufacturing Ltd, formerly Baxter Healthcare SA, Hollister ULC, Corrib Oil, Mayo Sligo Leitrim ETB, Orcawise, HSE West/North West and a consultant in Strategic Change Management.
Caroline Clarke, ATU lecturer and Programme Chair of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Human Resource Management, says: “The event in ATU Mayo campus, a CIPD-approved centre, is an interactive workshop and provides networking opportunities with industry experts. We will be exploring how culture influences communications and drives change in various organisations. This event is for students, academics and professionals in HR Management. It is also open to the public”.

ATU Mayo Campus offers a part time blended Level 8 degree in Human Resource Management. Students typically attend college once a month for in person lectures and are supported online in the intervening weeks with online resources and materials.
