ATU hosts Human Resource Management (HRM) and Leadership event “Leading and Managing People in a Changing Landscape” (Fri 8 March 2024)
Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is hosting an event for Human Resource (HR) managers titled “Leading and Managing People in a Changing Landscape,” at its Mayo campus on Friday 8 March 2024. The event brings together experienced Human Resource practitioners from a range of public and private organisations in the region for a panel discussion on themes such as skills shortages, managing and leading a diverse work force and sustainability.
Keynote speaker Neale Richmond, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment with special responsibility for Employment Affairs will be joined by a panel of speakers comprising Martin Cosgrove, Senior HR Manager, Baxter Healthcare SA; Sandra Mongon, HR Director Europe & Asia, Charles Rivers Microbial Solutions; Carmel Keane , HR Manager, Fort Wayne Metals; Ciara Compton, HR Manager, and Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development; Siofra Kilcullen, Senior Executive Officer, Human Resources and Training, Mayo County Council; and Mary Boyd, Chief Executive Officer, Western Care Association.
Michael Gill, Head of Department of Organisational Development, ATU Mayo says it promises to be a lively and engaging session. Minister Richmond will outline the national strategies and how regional enterprises’ alignment with these will enable successful outcomes.

The event is organised by ATU HR and Leadership students and staff in the Mayo Campus.
