ATU Library (the Library) has 8 campus locations (libraries), spread across the west and northwest of Ireland. We strive to provide excellent and relevant resources and collections to support the teaching, learning and research needs of the University.

Welcome to the Library, we’re here to help you every step of the way. Whether you’re doing research, looking for course materials, or need a quiet place to study, we’re here to help. Our collections of books, databases, journals and other resources is designed to meet your academic needs. Our library team are available to offer guidance, answer questions, and assist with research and information needs, ensuring you have the tools and support you need to succeed.

Opening Hours
In preparation for your visit check the opening hours of the Library you are visiting.
All our libraries are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Admissions
All registered ATU students and staff automatically have library membership.
Your ATU Student or Staff ID is also your library card. Please ensure you have your ATU ID with you when visiting the Library as you may be asked to present for entry to the Library and you will need it to borrow and renew books.
