The Careers Service is available to help you to make decisions and consider your next steps.  We can help you to explore progression options with your course and help you to apply for opportunities of interest, whenever and whatever they might be.

Careers Fairs & Industry Talks

ATU Careers Service provides you with multiple opportunities to meet potential employers, in-person and online.  We host hundreds of companies each academic year on our campuses, which result in many successful recruitment outcomes every year.  We encourage students to take the opportunity to actively engage and ask company representatives about the services, roles and placement opportunities they have available.

ATU Careers Service host speakers from a wide range of industry sectors each academic year.  We host multiple in person employer talks on our campuses and online, we host weekly ‘Webinar Wednesday’ industry-led careers talks throughout the academic year.

Career Readiness Digital Badge

We encourage all students to avail of the opportunity to achieve the ‘Career Readiness’ digital badge. This self-paced e-learning resource will provide you with useful strategies to help you to make effective career decisions and provide you with tools and insights that will be useful whilst at ATU and beyond.

Access CV Checker

CareerSet is a 24-hour online platform that gives you actionable, personalised feedback on your CV. Use your ATU email address for access and ensure your CV is in PDF format when uploading for review. Access here

Access Psychometric Assessments

ATU Careers Service has licensed tests from Team Focus so that you can explore your abilities, interests, motivations and style using quality psychometrics. 

These tests can help you to clarify your career progression after ATU and essentially help you to prepare for taking similar tests as part of an organisations graduate selection process.
