Quality and Healthcare Management
Programme Overview
This module aims to enable the student to examine the drive for improving quality, safety and governance across healthcare systems worldwide that meets the needs of service users, healthcare professionals and providers of health services. The management of quality through the various stages of the quality management cycle, from needs assessment, analysis, as well, as measurement, performance (including patient experience), evaluation and improvement will be explored with an emphasis on governance, leadership and approaches used to drive and implement sustainable quality improvement.
Please note all standalone modules run depending on sufficient numbers.

Requirements and Assessment
This module is assessed through coursework assignment. It consists of lectures, workshops, discussion-groups, group work, presentations and seminars.
