- Academic Integrity Digital Badge
New Academic Integrity Course + Digital Badge for Students under N-TUTORR
This Academic Integrity Digital Badge is a short course that introduces students to the concept of academic integrity and provides guidance on how to demonstrate academic integrity in their own work. The first 5 modules are the modules from the Epigeum Academic Integrity course for students. The final module, ‘Understanding Generative AI’, was developed by Atlantic Technological University (ATU) and Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT).
The course provides an introduction to the key principles of academic integrity and how to apply them in academic life through various interactive scenarios and learning objects.
It is recommended to introduce this course as part of a core module for first year students, however, it may also be used as a standalone activity or to compliment relevant module content for any cohort of students.
Students who complete this Academic Integrity course will be issued with an official digital badge later this term from the N-TUTORR Student Digital Backpack platform.
The badge is available to access from HERE or from individual ATU VLE links below. Please encourage ALL first-year students to complete the badge this semester.
