The Certificate in Access Studies (Northern Ireland) is designed specifically for applicants from Northern Ireland to provide an alternative route into an ATU degree. On successful completion of this programme, participants are eligible to apply for undergraduate degree programmes* in ATU (quotas apply on some programmes).
Students who are successful on this course will obtain the educational qualification for admission to Higher Education courses in a wide range of disciplines. The skills, knowledge and competence developed by the students during this course should ensure a reasonable prospect of success in subsequent studies.
This course is free of charge for students.
This programme is specifically designed to provide students with an alternative access route to Higher Education which is both formative and enjoyable.

In order to be considered eligible to join the Certificate in Access Studies, you must be sitting or have completed at least one A-Level and at least one BTEC Award, which could include a Subsidiary Diploma or 90 Credit Diploma or Diploma or Extended Diploma.
