This course will cover the following areas: Computerised Accounting and Payroll Systems Manual Record Keeping Business Management Business IT Applications.
Demand for employees with the above skill set has been highlighted in recent Forfas reports. This programme will enable participants enhance their employability opportunities in the area of accounting and payroll.
This course is delivered two evenings per week for two semesters. The programme will start in September each year.

Manual Record Keeping (Accounts & Payroll)In this module the learner will be apply the principles of double entry book keeping and prepare financial statements for a sole trader. Candidates who do not meet the above entry requirement may be admitted to the programme on the grounds of mature years (Over 23 by 1st January in the proposed year of entry), if they have attained appropriate experience and attainment thresholds deemed equivalent.
