A Diploma in Physical Education Studies for sports graduates seeking to gain accreditation in the PE modules required for teaching council recognition to become a PE teacher, upon subsequently obtaining the requisite Masters degree.
Many Sports graduates seek to work in schools but may not have obtained all the requisite PE modules which Teaching Council of Ireland requires for successful registration once the relevant Masters degree is obtained. This Diploma enables sports graduates to upskill in the PE modules to gain the option of later qualifying as a PE teacher, following postgraduate study.
