The course is designed to enhance learner capabilities in User Experience (UX), Strategic Design Thinking Acumen, User Centered Clarity and Innovation. Graduates will gain knowledge of user experience design and innovation processes, visual communication skills, along with an insight into consumer behaviours.
Typical applicants will include graduates from technical development and digital design backgrounds, current employees from the multinational and SME sectors in both technical and digital design capacity, plus unemployed graduates seeking to upskill.

Research MethodsThe aim of the module is to critically understand the design, methodological and implementation issues in research in your field of study. Specifically, the module aims to: facilitate the learner in the evaluation and the design of a research plan. The learner will develop an in-depth knowledge of the tools and techniques of research and an appreciation of which research approaches are appropriate in a given set of circumstances. User Interface Design – UIThis module focuses on the principles and elements of UI design for digital products and services. User interface design encompasses navigation, typography, colour, icon, language and motion to create clear and engaging design for screen. Using paper prototyping, wireframes and soft prototyping tools, learners will explore and apply the principles and elements of UI design in the creatation of two high-fideltity UI prototypes.
